Description
BB-8, sometimes spelled Beebee-Ate, was an astromech droid of the BB unit that operated approximately thirty years after the Battle of Endor. It had a domed head, similar to that of the R2 series astromech droids, with most of its body consisting of a ball on which the droid's head rolled. BB-8 was primarily white, with some silver and orange on its body, and a black photoreceptor. The droid belonged to Resistance pilot Poe Dameron, whom it accompanied on his flights in his T-70 X-wing fighter.
