Description
The P-51D is a long-range, single-seat American fighter and fighter-bomber used during World War II and the Korean War. This particular P-51D was flown by Lieutenant Bowers of the 4th Fighter Group, 334th Squadron. He was nicknamed "Sweet Arlene" and was credited with six enemy aircraft destroyed.
