At the edge of known space, the most famous adventurers converge on a strange little planet that is only capable of attracting precious stardust with its puzzling gravity. These adventurers are there to collect as much of this scarce resource as possible, while their rivals are constantly trying to steal it. You are one of those superstars in search of wealth and you must overcome the gravitational challenges that await you!
What's really original about Gravity Superstar is the way players' pawns move: at each turn, they move one or two spaces, then they're affected by gravity, causing them to fall down until they're stopped by a platform. This effect is made possible by the fact that the pawns are used lying on the board. Thus, they move upwards (above their heads), downwards (under their feet), left or right.
During his movement, a pawn can collect stars (to score points at the end of the game) or replay chips (to take a second consecutive round), and eject the pawns of opponents from the board.
