Do you enjoy word games but find that they sometimes drag on a bit or that your fellow players spend too much time thinking or checking in the dictionary? Bananagrams is the game for you! It's fast-paced, doesn't require too much thought, and is especially flexible (there are no game boards or points to keep track of).
Bananagrams: simple rules
You have to pick letters with which each person composes words that intersect (like in Arrow Words or Crosswords).
When all our initial letters are placed, we say "Banana" and draw another letter. What's interesting is that our opponents also draw and must now place one more letter in their hand!
The aim of the game is to place all your letters before the others. And during the game, you can move what you have already placed to improve (or worsen!) your position.) our fate.
You can play with children by adding handicaps for adults (more letters at the beginning, you draw two letters when the child draws one...) or make the game more challenging by requiring you to write only names of fruits, professions, proper nouns, or words with a minimum of 4 or 5 letters.
