Description
Was piloted during the First World War by the famous Manfred Von Richthofen. The aircraft's three-wing design allowed for superior manoeuvrability, which was essential for dogfighting during the First World War. Because of the purple color of the triplan, Richthofen was nicknamed the "red devil" by the French of the First World War (this nickname was changed to "red baron" after the war).
