What's Up is a fast-paced card game in which you must be the first to collect sets of birds.
To begin, shuffle the thirty double-sided cards, then lay them out on the table in a grid. Each card shows 1 to 3 birds in one of four colors: red, green, yellow, and purple. The reverse side of the card shows either the same number of birds in a different color, or the same color of birds in a different number. Therefore, each number-color combination appears five times in the game.
On your turn, choose a card from the grid and turn it over. If you can add it to your collection, do so; otherwise, place the bird back on the grid with the newly revealed side up. Your goal is to collect sets of birds of the same color, starting with the single bird, then the pair, and finally the triplet. The first player to collect 2 to 4 sets wins, the number depending on the number of players.
Observe what others are doing, remember what has been turned over and where, and play with the probabilities when you decide to turn the birds over!
