Innovation: Ultimate Edition is a boxed set containing Innovation and its five expansions, including a brand new expansion called The Unseen, and expert rules for playing with more than 4 players.
Numerous updates have been made to this edition. First, Age 11 has been added, representing the recent past and potential near future at the time of release. Many language and mechanics have been simplified, and in particular, all the expansions have been heavily reworked to be more accessible and easier to integrate into the game.
Innovation is a map-guided journey through humanity's ideas and advances from prehistory to the 21st century. Each Innovation has its own card, with a unique ability that will advance a player's civilization, perhaps disrupting the plans of others! The basic rules are easy to learn, and the complexity arises from the infinite possible interactions thanks to all their diverse powers.
