The Mind is more than just a game. It's an experience, a journey, a team experience in which you can't exchange information, but will become one mind to conquer all levels of the game. The Mind is a cooperative card game for 2 to 4 players where players cannot talk to each other or give advice, but must work together to complete the rounds. In each round, players receive cards from a deck of cards numbered 1 to 100. Depending on the round, the number of cards players have changes equivalently to the current round (level 1 players receive one card, level 2 players receive two, etc.)
Players must collectively play cards to the center of the table onto a single discard pile in ascending order, but they cannot communicate with each other in any way about the cards they hold. When a player believes the time is right, they play their lowest card and hope no other player has another one. If no other player has a lower card, the round continues.
However, if someone holds a card lower than the one played, players discard all cards from the discard pile and the team loses a life. The team starts the game with a number of lives equal to the number of players. If you lose all your lives, you lose the game. You also start with a shuriken, and if everyone wants to use a shuriken, each player discards their lowest card face up, giving information to everyone and bringing you closer to the end of the level. When you complete a level, you receive a shuriken or an extra life as a reward.
If you complete all levels, you win! For an extra challenge, play The Mind in extreme mode with all played cards going to the face-down pile. You don't look at the played cards until the end of a level, losing lives at that point for cards played out of order.
