Water Lily Diaspora
Long dispersed and oppressed, the Water Lily Diaspora now yearns to make the Forest its homeland. Though it strives for peaceful integration, peace is a rare commodity amidst civil war. As it trains its warriors, it must be careful that its desire for security does not erupt into outright aggression. With weapons in hand, a simple misunderstanding between the Diaspora and the Forest can escalate into brutal reprisals, strengthening the Diaspora's militancy and fueling resentment against its cause.
Twilight Council
Disgusted by this endless conflict, the Twilight Council organizes assemblies to end the war, bringing together the entire Forest, from the humblest mouse in its bag to the most powerful falcon aspiring to the throne. These assemblies prioritize political ties over the mere number of warriors, encouraging factions to move away from bloody battles and to favour passionate debates.
The Rogues of the Deep
No one truly knows how this band of rogues and scoundrels came together, but legends abound. From the edge of the forest, they set out to plunder barracks and baggage trains, taking warriors hostage. Why? For ransom, of course. Some say they give the money to the needy. Others say they spend it recklessly. Whatever the truth, their revelry echoes all night long from the depths of the forest, where few dare to venture. And who could blame them for spreading a little joy?
