Under dark, churning clouds, the figure of a vampire, Count Strahd von Zarovich, looms against the ancient walls of Castle Ravenloft. The thunder grumbles, hammering at the castle towers. The wind howls louder as he turns his gaze towards the village of Barovia.
In the distance below, a group of adventurers has just entered his lands, which does not escape his eagle eyes. Strahd sketches the shadow of a barely perceptible smile: everything is going according to his plans. He knew they were coming, he knew they would come. He had planned everything.
A flash of lightning illuminates the darkness, but Strahd has vanished. It is midnight. Only the wind disturbs the night air. The lord of Castle Ravenloft has guests for dinner. You are among the guests.
Curse of Strahd is a gothic horror adventure for characters of levels 1–10 and contains everything a Dungeon Master needs to create an exciting and memorable game experience.
