Description
Merchants Cove is a highly asymmetric management game where each player assumes the role of a specific merchant with a unique shop. Merchants compete to sell their wares to adventurers arriving at the city docks, a place home to the Five Kingdoms’ most famous markets. Each player uses their own set of components (material and board) and role-specific game mechanics to produce their goods, increase their shop's efficiency, level up their crew, and, most importantly, become rich! Although the merchants work independently in their specialized store, they compete to attract customers, influence the demand for goods, and obtain sponsorships from the four faction halls. To gain an advantage, merchants can employ local townspeople to work in their shop as staff. And if they dare, they can leverage the corrupt thieves' den - but at what cost? After three days of selling in the markets, the wealthiest merchant will be declared the Merchant King!
