Art has always been a part of Karine Sirois's life. She first studied psychology and became a primary school teacher. It was in 2019 that her creative expression truly emerged. After exploring oil painting, then watercolor, primarily painting portraits, Karine Sirois discovered acrylics, which she particularly loves. Through intuitive painting, which was a revelation, she refined her style. Her figurative creations are very colorful and feature original and joyful compositions.
The artist layers paint and adds various marks using stencils, brush sponges, etc. The patterns or textures created give depth to her works. It is the turquoise mauves, pinks, and light greens that primarily appear in her creations, making her art vibrant.
