Dishonest treasure hunters have broken into your university's archaeology department office! Your professor has disappeared without a trace, as has a book containing ancient documents about a hidden temple. You must act quickly and track down the criminals. Your pursuit will lead you deep into a mysterious jungle on a small island. You must find the professor in time and save the temple's revered treasures before they fall into the hands of cunning thieves!
In this EXIT game, there are puzzles within puzzles, hidden in four jigsaws. Like other EXIT titles, The Sacred Temple has no game board, but it also has no riddle cards. Instead, there are four jigsaw puzzles that you must find and assemble, one by one. Each completed jigsaw reveals a location containing further puzzles to decipher.
At the beginning of the game, you only have a decoder disk and the first set of jigsaw pieces at your disposal. During the game, you will find strange objects that must be used to solve the puzzles in the jigsaws. The game ends when you have solved the last riddle, saved the professor, and found the Sacred Temple!
