In echoes, a new series of highly immersive audio mystery games from Ravensburger, players use a deck of illustrated cards and thrilling sound clues to complete a story and solve a mystery.
The underworld gathers to concoct their sinister plans under the dim lights of a New York speakeasy. Listen to the conversations at the bar and see if you can solve the mystery of the infamous crime boss "Cruel Steve."
Players will need a free companion app to play echoes.
Install the app and use your camera to scan the cards and play the audio clues associated with each illustration. Each echoes story is composed of six chapters. Each chapter begins with a chapter marker tile followed by three story cards. Players first solve the individual chapters, then work together to put the chapters in order.
When players think a chapter is solved, they can use the app to check. The app will tell them how many cards belong to the chapter and if the cards are in the correct order. When a chapter is successfully solved, the app provides an overview with additional details, helping players understand and solve the overall story.
Once the chapter is successfully reconstructed, players put the complete story in order. When they have solved the mystery, they can listen to an epilogue that completes the story!
