In Darwin's Journey, you will embody passionate scientists, following in Darwin's footsteps, and you will have to explore the Galapagos Islands to earn money, discover species (very important!), establish camps, collect fossils, and send all your discoveries to the museum. The game offers an original worker placement mechanism, where your workers will evolve as they gain experience and acquire new skills and abilities.
Darwin’s Journey is a worker placement game. In turn, players place a worker on the board to perform one of the many actions available: navigate, explore islands, train, collect specimens then donate them to the museum, or correspond with Europe... Workers all have a specialty, and as the game progresses, players can evolve them to make them more efficient. Completed actions and objectives offer victory points.
