Greetings, esteemed students! The Cosmic Faculty of the Technical Academy of Creation is thrilled to welcome you to Civolution, the final examination in Civilization Design!
For this occasion, we have prepared a humanoid scenario on an isolated continent. Here, each of you embodies a local deity, closely linked to your own civilization, and must lead it to victory against the others. Your possibilities for development are endless and encompass cultural and technical progress, as well as evolutionary adaptations. For example, what would seem most beneficial for your tribes: inventing the wheel or growing wings? Demonstrate your mastery of your civilization's console and show us your ability to adapt to changing environmental conditions and creative chaos.
At the end of the four eras, whoever has accumulated the most success points will pass the exam and become a full member of the Technical Academy of Creation, with the possibility of advancing to the next level.
Civolution is a medium-to-high complexity eurogame strategy game that uses a dice system to trigger actions on a technological tree structure. As you discover how best to use your dice and play your unique cards, a multitude of strategies and paths to victory emerge, even if, in each game, you will only explore a fraction of the possibilities offered by the game system and its many cards.
