Description
- Suggested Age: 1+
Toddlers (12m+) will be delighted to collect the fish using the magic fish catcher! The magic fish catcher includes a metal plate; the magnetic fish are attracted to it and toddlers must use both hands to separate them. Young children can catch and organize the fish by size, color or number. The game board is double-sided and suitable for two different age groups.
Grows with your baby, supporting 3 developmental stages
Development
My 1st magnetic fishing game helps toddlers develop their fine motor skills, cognitive abilities and hand-eye coordination:
Motor skills: using the magic fish catcher to catch fish: Training in grasping and manipulating objects, bilateral coordination - using 2 hands (separating fish), hand-eye coordination and depth perception.
Cognitive skills: Promoting verbal skills, association and sorting - Sizes - comparing large and small, counting them - and number recognition, colors - recognizing and naming, associating fish - by color, size or pattern.
Support for 3 developmental stages:
Stage 1 - 12M+ Scatter the magnetic fish on the board and retrieve them using the magnetic fish catcher. Separating the fish from the handle will help the young child coordinate the use of both hands.
Stage 2 - 18M+ Ask the child to find the matching fish and retrieve it using the magnet.
Stage 3 - 24M+ Place the fish on the silhouette by matching them by color or size, naming the colors. Collect the fish using a magnet, from largest to smallest, and collect them in numerical order. Pick up the fish using the magnet, from 1 to 10.
