About the Artist: Elissa Della-Piana is a multi-talented artist whose career spans from fashion illustration to exhibition and costume design, and most recently, art licensing. A graduate of the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design, she has been the recipient of numerous awards and certificates of excellence. Recently retired from a 36-year career as a professor at the Montserrat College of Art, Elissa now paints full time. As an avid horticulturist, Elissa’s gardens provide much of the inspiration for her incredible floral and landscape paintings.
