Dragon artisans, smaller, magic-gifted versions of their larger (and more destructive) cousins, are sought by merchants so they can delight customers with their flamecraft. You are a flamekeeper, skilled in the art of conversing with dragons, placing them in their ideal home, and using enchantments to entice them to produce wonderful things. Your reputation will grow as you help dragons and merchants, and the most reputable flamekeeper will be known as the Master of Flamecraft.
In Flamecraft, 2 to 5 players take on the role of flamekeepers, gathering items, placing dragons, and casting enchantments to improve the shops in the city. Dragons are specialized (bread, meat, iron, crystal, plant, and potion) and flamekeepers know which shops are best suited for each of them. Visit a shop to get items and a favor from one of the dragons there. Collected items can be used to enchant a shop, gaining reputation and earning favors from all the dragons in the shop. If you are lucky enough to attract fancy dragons, you will have the opportunity to earn even more reputation.
