Cascadia is a tile-laying and token-drafting game featuring the habitats and wildlife of the Pacific Northwest. Over the course of the rounds, players build their own area of terrain and populate it with available wildlife.
Players must create a diverse and harmonious ecosystem, as each species has habitat preferences, and each habitat must be placed judiciously to reduce fragmentation and score as well as possible.
Cascadia offers a two-part puzzle that evolves over time as habitats and wildlife are added to each player's ecosystem. Players score points by creating the most harmonious, but also the largest, wildlife areas.
