The Pura Raza Española Mare from Schleich® Horse Club captivates with her long, flowing mane, typical of this horse breed. Her resemblance to Andalusian horses is no coincidence, as Pura Raza Española, or PRE for short, are a breeding line within the Andalusian breed.
They have been recognized as a distinct breed by the Spanish breeders' association since 1912. It can therefore be said that all PREs are Andalusians, but not all Andalusians are PREs.
