The Postosuchus lived in the time of the first dinosaurs and looked like a crocodile, as can be seen on the Schleich® Dinosaurs Postosuchus.
The Postosuchus was an archosaur and thus a close relative of modern crocodiles. It had remarkably ossified skin and a long, narrow snout. It usually moved on all four legs.
Sometimes it stood on its hind legs to grab its prey with its claws. When the Schleich® Dinosaurs Postosuchus opens its powerful movable jaw, its sharp, dagger-like teeth can be seen.
