Monster Chase is a cooperative memory game for players aged 3 to 7. In the game, monsters emerge from under the bed and try to surround it. Each monster is only afraid of one toy that banishes it to the closet from the ten available to be found. If the players succeed in sending all the monsters to the closet before they can close the circle around the bed, they win! Otherwise, the monsters are declared victorious.

In terms of gameplay, face-down cards are placed on the table with tiles then placed around these cards. To begin, a card is revealed that represents a monster and the toy it is afraid of. In turn, each player must now find the toy that scares this monster, the toy being hidden in the face-down tiles. If players make three mistakes in their search, a new monster appears with a different toy needed to scare it. Once all the monsters are out, you only have three chances to win by getting rid of all the monsters.

The rules offer different levels of difficulty to adapt to the player's experience and/or maturity, such as a tile that shuffles the other tiles and a tile that instantly makes a new monster appear.
