In "In a Grove," bluffing and deduction are essential. The player who makes too many false accusations loses the game. The game is played in rounds. In each round, each player receives one of eight silhouettes (numbered 2 to 8, with one blank silhouette).
Three silhouettes are placed in the center of the table: these are the suspects. The last silhouette is designated as the victim. The goal is to unmask the culprit, either by accusing them or by enticing other players to accuse an innocent!
