In Sanctuary, you will design and plan a modern, scientifically managed zoo, for the well-being of both animals and visitors. A set of 135 unique zoo tiles offers you animals, buildings, and projects. In each game, your objective is to find the best possible combination to create the most prosperous zoo. Different effects on the tiles will help you achieve your conservation goals and increase your zoo's attractiveness.
Each player has four Action cards to manage their game. The power of an action is determined by the position of the card. One of these cards allows you to play projects, while the other three allow you to play animals from a specific habitat: forest, rock, or water.
Sanctuary is inspired by its predecessor, Ark Nova, but modifies and simplifies many mechanisms with elegance and originality. Finding the best way to arrange your animals, buildings, and projects on your zoo's blueprint is a constant delight!
