The Speed Cube can be solved in twenty moves, but how quickly can you achieve it? The world record was set in 2018 at 3.47 seconds!
To achieve the best times, speedcubers learn sequences of moves to solve the Cube, called algorithms. Faced with a configuration, they know which algorithms to use. They also train their hands to move as quickly as possible to achieve impressive solve times.
Think fast and act fast! The improved design now uses magnets for added stability and a positioning system, making it easier to align the Cube for subsequent rotations and more precise movements. The Speed Cube features a stronger core and a mechanism designed for increased speed, smoothness, and reliability.
No more jamming or cores popping out! The Speed Cube comes pre-lubricated to help you improve your times, and you can add more lubrication if needed. Traditional stickers have been replaced with an original and eco-friendly ABS material, ensuring fade and peel resistance, and most importantly, preventing cheating. Shiny tiles provide good grip for a classic look.
