BoxBasic is an original shape sorter, designed for children aged 18 months and up. First, choose one of the 5 boards, each with a hole whose shape is associated with a wooden piece: a square, a circle, a triangle, a flower, and a semi-circle.
The adult inserts it onto the box, then the child finds the piece associated with the hole on the board, slides it in, and lets it fall into the box. The piece easily comes out, and the child starts again.
The bottom of the box is made of felt to dampen the sound of falling pieces.
The bottom of the box is slanted so that the pieces come out easily.
Everything stores inside the box.
Allows the child to concentrate on one shape at a time.
