In Bohemians, players embody artists wandering the streets of Paris at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, seeking to create masterpieces while facing the challenges of everyday life. Bohemians is a card game where players collect cards to find inspiration, meet muses, and manage their daily tasks.
Each turn, players must plan their day and decide whether to go on a date, attend a social event, meet their muse, create a new work, or… go to work. Each card offers various bonuses and sources of inspiration; managing one's card stock and the order in which they are played is therefore crucial to optimizing one's inspiration.
Players then spend their inspiration to buy cards and enrich their deck with new habits, inspiring muses, or new professional achievements. The artist who accumulates the most successes in the success deck wins the game.
