In Arcs: The Ravaged Reaches, you embark on a multi-act galactic epic where every action has long-term repercussions. The core of the game remains tactical and fast-paced, but now the universe comes alive with evolving plots, transforming factions, and scripted events.
Each campaign begins with an initial crisis (revolt, war, prophecy, etc.) that determines the initial mechanics. Players will then shape the rest of the story through their strategic choices, discovering new rules, cards, and objectives as the chapters unfold.
The campaign mechanics are designed to be light yet rich in narrative, without bogging down the fluidity of the original gameplay. In The Ravaged Reaches expansion, replayability is immense thanks to multiple branching paths and interchangeable modules.
Over a three-part trilogy, players will guide their factions in a science fiction epic where every choice matters.
• A Galaxy of Possibilities: Explore 24 destinies, each with a unique set of cards and pieces. Will you lead the guilds to take control as a Defender, or will you try to build a new Republic as a Founder?
• Emerging Asymmetry: Develop your own identity over the course of the trilogy. A failed Imperial Steward might be tempted to become the fearsome Planet Breaker. Each combination promises new narrative and strategic options!
• Smart Storage: This box has room to store the Arcs base game, including sleeved cards. The game also includes removable trays to easily save your campaign progress between sessions.
